Hampi, also referred to as the Group of Monuments at Hampi, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in east-central Karnataka, India. It is situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in the eastern part of central Karnataka and is 376 kms from Bangalore. Among the attractions of Hampi are beautiful temples, ruins of palaces, remains of aquatic structures, ancient market streets, royal pavilions, bastions, royal platforms, treasury buildings... the list is practically endless. Virtually every rock in Hampi has a story to say. Hampi is a special invitation for all the boulderer. You can spend a lifetime doing bouldering and still will left with many problems yet to be attempted. Hampi is a backpacker's paradise, the same way a pilgrim's delight. So, what are you waiting for? Hampi Hampi is often termed as the bouldering capital of India as the entire landscape is covered with granite boulders or crags. For long Hampi has been in the list of those places secretly shared among the old hand boulderers but after the 2003 sensational climbing video Pilgrimage featuring Chris Sharma with his friends Katie Brown and Nate Gold, this place is known worldwide.

    Bouldering- Coracle Ride at Sanapur lake and Hike to Anjaneya Hills
    Get picked up from respective pickup points and begin your overnight journey.
    Around 07:00 AM, you will reach the campsite, freshen-up and have breakfast later.
    Proceed towards Bouldering session with proper gears under expert guidelines.
    Afterwards, enjoy coracle ride at Sanapur Lake.
    Return to campsite for Lunch and ride onto moped to waterfalls for swimming.
    Later ride to the base of Anjaneya hills and Hike for Sunset
    Anjaneya Hills: At the top of the hill is the temple dedicated for Hanuman. According to Hindu mythology, he was born to Anjana. The view from the hilltop is marvellous where patches of paddy fields, coconut tree plantations and the whole of the ruins sites is visible stretching into the horizon. All around in the horizons are the rugged Rocky Mountains and at one side in the mighty Tungabhadra river.
    Return back to campsite.
    Freshen up and have dinner (veg/non-veg).
    Enjoy the bonfire. Chat around and retire for the day.

    Cultural Walk: Virupaksha Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Queen’s bath and much more
    Wake up early, get ready for new day and new adventure.
    Start your day with breakfast at campsite, move by 9:00 from campsite.
    Board the bus to visit historical side of Hampi by covering historical monuments like underground Siva temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Ranga temple, Puskarni and Queen’s bath.
    Virupaksha Temple, dedicated to lord Shiva, is the oldest shrine, the principal destination for pilgrims and tourists, and remains an active Hindu worship site.
    In the afternoon, enjoy your self-sponsored lunch enroute.
    Wind up the tour after you get dropped back.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellations are made 5-7 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • If cancellations are made within 3-5 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions or low number of travelers, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However, a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
  • Safarnama Travelers reserves the right to cancel a customer's booking with prior information and will process the full refund in case of Bad weather or not enough travelers to conduct a trip.
  • Cancellations are strictly subjected to cancellation policies & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Have a trip with "Safarnama" Woo huuu, all got Ten on Ten completed. But there were something else too, which in wildest dream also I may have not thought like .. A team of travellers, giving one one sec moments, so energectic, knows how to fill one one sec, not a leaving a single 'Safari' in boredom. With these Safarnami's, you try to be silent and bored,....hell no you can't be. Even if you are a great introvert, your conscious will attract you to join their peacefull crezzies.
